MESSAGE FROM OUR PRINCIPAL

Mdm Jackie Kok Chow Hiong (www.gongshangpri.moe.edu.sg)

“Kuching, the capital of Sarawak, was named after a tidal stream called Sungai Kuching.  The stream originated from Cat’s Eye Hill (Bukit Mata Kuching).  It has an abundance of a local fruit called the green longan or commonly known as Cat’s Eye (Mata Kuching).  That’s how Kuching derived its name.  The geography and culture of this city are very different from Singapore.  So ‘soak in’ the local atmosphere and open your eyes to discern the similarities and differences in comparison with our home, Singapore.

Here’s wishing all an enjoyable and enriching learning experience.”
